RV Camping at Hallowspring at Fort Wilderness
RV Camping at Hallowspring at Fort Wilderness
Are you looking for a unique event to take the kids to this year? If you have been to Halloween at Fort Wilderness then you’ll be excited to learn that half-way to Halloween, Fort Wilderness campgrounds and RV park located within Walt Disney World Resort hosts Hallowspring!
Hallowspring has trick or treating in April, so bring your pillow cases and fill up. The decorations are some of the best Halloween decor around. You’ll notice most RV spots decorate to the max and guests walk around with so much joy.
You’ll want to book your campsite well in advance. Spots fill up quickly (although not as quickly as Halloween at the Fort). For your convenience, we rent RVs for Fort Wilderness. We are more than happy to set up your RV before you arrive at the designated campsite. We ensure its level and all hookups are connected properly. All we want for you to do is show up and have fun. Don’t plan to eat out every meal? Guests can have Instacart delivery groceries to you although you may have to meet the driver at the entrance.
Hallowspring has plenty of activities for children and parents alike. You will not want to miss the not-so-scary golf cart parade! People spend a great deal of time crafting the most epic costumes for their golf carts. Feel free to participate. You can even rent a golf cart if you don’t plan to bring one from home. Check your itinerary and visit the bike barn for Halloween themed crafts, Halloween themed scavenger hunts, Halloween trivia challenges, swimming pools, horseback riding, archery, movie under the stars, enjoy a dinner experience at Hoop De Doo Revue, and the nightly “Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long”. Activities often vary year to year but you’ll receive an itinerary when you arrive with a list they prepared just for your trip. Fort Wilderness has a campfire in the evening to roast marshmallows, tell stories, and interact with fellow campers from around the world – many of which make this trip an annual event. No need to bring items for smores as they have kits for purchase right by the fire.
Honestly you do not want to miss the smile on your kids face as they bounce around from RV spot to RV spot taking in all of the decorations and treats along the way. It truly is one of the best places on earth.
If you decide to venture out of the Fort and you have the time, spend a day exploring the various theme parks and attractions within Walt Disney World Resort. We like to go for lunch and shopping at Disney Springs. Explore other attractions in the Orlando area such as Universal Studios, SeaWorld, or Kennedy Space Center which is only an hour or so from the Fort.
Have a safe journey back home, leave the RV pickup to us, and cherish the memories that Hallowspring at Fort Wilderness is sure to bring.
